These shorts DO keep dry on shorter runs (with reasonable humidity). Just as important is that: When they do get wet on long runs they are not a nightmare. The seams and weight of the shorts do not cause undue chafing when they are drenched in sweat.

One slight drawback I've found is in the liner. I bought size medium and it's the right size, but it's a little snug around the rear and leaves a little too much motion up front. Nothing significantly worse than other running shorts I've owned, so these are still highly recommended, but if you've got a big caboose either go with the large or be prepared to pick!
